Gundam 00: Gundam Exia 1/100 Scale Model Kit Description


Sharply molded in color parts, this 1/100-scale, non-grade plastic kit of Gundam Exia can take on a wide range of poses upon completion, thanks to the use of polycaps in its joints. It's fully equipped with its signature weaponry, including a GN sword that can switch to GN sword rifle mode, and be able to be folded shoulder antennas. Not a drop of glue or paint required (although painting will improve the finished results)! A sheet of foil stickers is included for detail along with a joint part for use with Bandai's Action Base 1 to set Gundam Exia in mid-air poses.

I bought this as a 2nd scanner for home use. I did not want to spend a lot of money & Amazon was offering a great deal through the Marketseller Beach Camera. It was about 30-40% off. I like Canon. I have been using their products for over a decade. Way back when, their scanning engine was the leader in the market and the majority of manufacturers were using it in their scanners.

I am very satisfied. I had been using a Canoscan 4200f & wanted something very similar. It works in Windows 7 and also with Omnipage 14 which is not a very new product. I do a lot of OCR. It is also a great tool to help make my life paperless. It is very lightweight and has excellent resolution.

A great bonus with this is that it runs completely off a USB port. There is no need for AC power.

So far this has been a good unit. Only used a few times, so far no problems. The only negative is that there doesn't appear to be a Linux driver for this scanner (yet). Hopefully, cannon will support the Linux community with a Canon LiDE100 Color Image Scanner driver soon.

When I carry a heavy basket of laundry down the stairs against my hip, the handles on the long-side break off (the plastic itself, not just the rubber handle - it can't be simply snapped back on). Now I have half a dozen laundry baskets with jagged, sharp sides to them. Very annoying.

We have one Sterilite 1200 Ultra laundry basket that we've been very happy with for years, and I decided it was time to buy more to have around for convenience on laundry day. Based on the picture, I thought this 1215 model would be pretty much the same, and possibly improved.

The quality of design and manufacturing has dropped a bit. The old basket had comfortable handles: molded finger grips underneath, all smooth edges. The new baskets have a hard, flat surface where you grip, and little sharp-ish raised edges all over the sides of the grip that dig into your hands a bit. Plus, on several of them there was excess plastic sticking out from the handles from the molding process that we had to trim ourselves. Not horrible, but still all a step down from the original basket.

And, in case anyone else cares, the new basket has a shape that is just enough different that it won't nest with the original 1200 baskets.

I decided to get this for basicly what it is intended for. I tryed it out on a 2X4 and it cut very nice, and the edge is still very sturdy.
But sadly, I was disapointed because it was MADE IN CHINA. Not something all knife people like, but the main reason I gave it 3 stars was because the black oxide were the blade made impact started to come off the VERY FIRST swing as if it was spray painted.
Im sorry Cold Steel but step up your game, this "spray painted" machete is nice, but "paint" is unacceptable.
The Sheath is very nice aswell.

I would have given it a 4 if it was not for the crappy, so called "black oxide". Don't paint it Cold Steel!

This is one CHEAP hunk of junk. The plastic is thin, brittle, poorly trimmed. The seams are warped, open, showing shavings, stress marks from assembly stresses. I haven't seen a piece of work like this in a long, long time. It's the kind of cheap workmaship I associate with 1970s Chinese plastic junk.

If that weren't bad enough, the one shipped to me was obviously used and abused.

The clock sent to us was destroyed prior to arrival at our place. The little car is, for some reason, very heavy, like 2x the weight of the rest of the hollow clock. It had obviously torn loose from the flimsy plastic base by some other buyer. It was full of stains, greasy finger prints, scratches and other accumulated filth. That buyer stuffed the clock into a couple of chunks of bubble wrap, stuff the entire thing in the original box, returned it, and that's how it arrived to me, obviously broken, pawed through.

If this thing works (and I hope it will), it's worth, at most, $10.

It says "Mom invented" on the box. I'd figure a Mom to take a little more pride in the junk going out the factory in China.

I started looking for something like this when one of my kids (age 2) started waking at 4:30 thinking it was time to get up and play. Once I got him back in bed, around 5:00 my other kiddo (age 4) did the same thing. It was getting old, very quickly and I was beating myself up trying to explain to them why they need to stay in bed and how can they know it is okay to get up (without waking me up).

My husband had seen a clock similar to this in a magazine, so I started looking. I had a tough time deciding whether to go with this one, or another one with a lot more features. I'm sure the other one is great, too, but I opted for the simplicity of this one and also thought that my kids would love the "stoplight" concept and think it was more fun. I am very happy with my choice. The clock is extremely easy to set and operate. It took a few days for my kids to get the hang of it, but now the first thing they say when they come out in the morning is "My light is green!"

I should take away at least one star from the rating for quality, but I am so grateful this item even exists, I don't care about the flaws. I ordered one boy and one girl clock, and the cars on them are so heavy compared to the lightweight plastic of the the clock that both cars were broken off when I received them. I don't care that much, so I just hot glued them back on. There is potential for them to be broken beyond repair in shipping, though. (Amazon's return program is awesome though, so I wouldn't worry about it) They are overpriced for what they are. Probably taking advantage of desperate parents a little - it should either be cheaper in price or higher in quality, but again, I'm still happy with my purchase.


It's About Time IAT-102 Review by LovesSeasons

I've got one of these for my three year old, which we got about a year ago, and it works well enough...although as others have noted it's remarkably cheap quality is a bit worse than I'd expect for its price. The other major issue I have with it is that it's BRIGHT - I'm pretty sure that it woke him up when it turned green more than a few times (the issue that has been noted before that it only stays green for one hour then goes out is also a little annoying). I ended up taking it apart and putting a few layers of masking tape on the inside of the lenses to dim them down a fair bit to reduce the brightness factor, as well as flipping the "audible alarm on/off" switch to the inside so that my oh-too-clever son can't turn it onto "buzz" anymore. Even with the downsides, though, it does (mostly) work - well enough that I'm buying another one tonight for my almost-two-year-old (with the plan to disassemble it to dim it down and flip the switch before he ever sees it).
